The Trip

Krabi is a little peninsula located on the south-western part of Thailand. With rock formations made up predominantly of limestone, Krabi offers hundreds of bolted sport climbing routes, with grades for all levels of climbing.

Most of the climbing areas are located off the beach, thus offering a great view of the beach, sand and sea. All-year round sunshine, excellent routes, seaside bars and friendly climbers - Krabi is, unsurprisingly, regarded by many as a climbing haven.

Arrival in Haadyai, Thailand
Coming from Malaysia, Haadyai was our first major stop in Thailand. Haadyai is situated on the southern part of Thailand, and is well-known for its shopping and err, "special" services, where many horny old bastards cross over to Thailand regularly for.

Well at least that's what I've heard anyway, but we all know it's true, so it must be...

Rock Climbing in Krabi
Krabi is a haven for rock climbers and tourists alike. Made up of a wonderful collage of sea, sand and limestone - it's a perfect spot for a climbing holiday.

Krabi: Life & Friends
In Krabi, the accommodation and night life is of "touristy" standards at a very affordable budget.

Seaside restaurants, bars and stalls hawking t-shirts and souvenirs can be found, especially in the more developed areas such as RaiLay and Tonsai.
