Touchdown: Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia. It's a quaint little city, where the pace of life seems a lot more relaxed than those in KL's.

.) We departed from the KL International Airport (KLIA) at 1pm via Air Asia. |

.) Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu slightly more than 2 hours later, we were picked up by a friendly Mr Ahmad to our hotel. |

.) Evelyn did a great job organizing the entire trip. Her meticulous planning left no stones untouched - we had all the accommodation, food and transport organized each day. She even made sure we used the right toothpicks during meals. |

.) Don't be fooled by that serious look of Jason. I know I did - expecting him as Evelyn's boss, but he's turned out to be one big nut crack. |

.) View from the hotel room, the Sheraton. Kota Kinabalu is a city on the coast of the South China Seas. |

.) Fishing is an economy at KK, so boats like these are a common sight. |

.) A short distance down the street, was an evening Filipino market. |

.) If there's anything I'd wish for in KL, it'd be food stalls facing the beach. |

.) Sabah is blessed with the best sunsets! |

.) For dinner, we had a grand meal of fish, crab, prawns, squid and all the good stuff, washed down with Carlsberg. Good thing Jason took care of the bill; otherwise Evelyn and I would've been swimming back to KL the very next morning. |
